What is CTE diploma and how important is it?

   There are some difference between a normal regents diploma and an advanced regents diploma with having a CTE endorsement in either one For example ,in a regents diploma you need to pass 2(Algebra I ,Geometry , Algebra II math courses but in an advanced regents diploma ,you will need to pass 3 (Algebra I,Algebra II,and Geometry).In a advanced regents diploma you will have to pass at least 2 science regents exam and in normal regents diploma you just need to pass only one science regents, You don't need  to pass any foreign language regents exams to get a regents diploma.In the other hand you will need to take and pass  at least 1 foreign language regents exam to get a advanced regents diploma. but since you are in CTE you won't need to take the regents. These were some of the requirements and differences between getting a normal regents diploma and an advanced regents diploma with having a CTE endorsement in either one.


Achieving a CTE diploma is beneficial for me in many ways. one of the way is it will make my resume look much stronger and will help me get better job and college. I will be ahead of a lot of people because i will already have many college credits (CUNY) because of the CTE class. ( digital design). Some of the unique benefit of obtaining the CTE endorsement through web design academy is i will earn 2 LOTE credits and will not be required to pass the LOTE exam. This will save me a lot of money and time.
