Digital Design 2017

Hello everyone! This workshop was boring! Because we were learning about work safety and we go over it every year and it was  boring. But we were introduced to new program that would give us opportunities over summer scholarships and resume build program. This was we can get exposed to real life situations and work on our weakness so when the real deal comes up we will be ready to face our fears. Also we talked how to behave and what to do and not to do during our job sessions and how to fight against unfair policies or orders/assignments. It was helpful but was also boring.

Hello everyone! In this task we were supposed to do research and work over the course of 8 hours on an  innovation that came after 2017 May. We would research this Topic thoroughly just as we did with the Practice PT. We must make an artifact showing what our innovation does. The artifact can be audio, video or picture. With the artifact we must explain the capabilities of the artifact, what the innovation uses to work, what information it collects, etc. We talk about how the information it collects is being used by the innovation. End it by citing your sources in MLA format. We also had to state their delimas. 

Hello! For this assignment we were supposed to research a technological innovation about cryptography and Big Data. The innovation I chose was Cryptocurrency. I would have to research several sources and discuss what caused the innovation, how does it work, why should it be used, etc. We must include an artifact, such as an audio clip, video clip, image, etc and it must not be above 1 minute long however. By the end of the assignment we should have a clear understanding as to what we just researched, understand the effects of the innovation, and the importance of it in our daily lives. Also we should be able to explain it to someone with little knowledge easily.

Hello! For this assignment we were supposed to do a research about a website that used Big Data. We would have to find out what this information would be used for, if the information is displayed in an easily understandable way, where the data comes from, and if it truly is big data. This was all done with partners, all being from your table. We went through the website  nullschool  to find out what information was being used by the website and if it was Big Data or not. Looking through the website showed us how the wind was moving, it was good at showing what directions the winds are traveling. It seems to us that they in fact do collect a huge amount of data.

As day passes technology improves day by day. Robots were first introduced in 1954 and form then it has been improving day by day. And we all know that robots can't think for themselves or have any type of feelings or nervous system. But we might be proven wrong. Cunjiang Yub created skin for robots using rubber. It can stretch upto 50% and function properly. It works like human skin So it will be much better for robots to work in with humans and sense the surrounding better than before. This may change a lot of things. Robots are already taking over jobs of human and they are improving day by day. This might lead to a very problematic situation. South korea bans cryptocurrency exchange and this is affecting the whole crypto realm. Because of the ban of  cryptocurrency bitcoin price dropped drastically. In december 19, 2017 bitcoin price almost hit $20,000 (18,922.00 to be exact) but the price dropped drastically. There were many reasons but one major reason is the ban of using bitcoin in south korea. Now the current price of bitcoin is 14,289 and the difference is quite a bit if you compare the time to its price. It is believed that bitcoin price will drop even more because of competition. Other companies are also bringing cryptocurrency to the market and this will lead to a huge drop of bitcoin price.
