Digital Design 2017

Hello everyone! This is almost the end of the year YEAYYYY! But this means we have to fix our portfolio. And our assignment was to fix all our labs project and create a website just for our portfolio. We had almost all the work done but we had to improve. Over the year we learned a lot of code but in the beginning we didn't know so our page didn't look that cool but this is the time to fix all of that and it was all don't nicely and all my link works properly. This year was very fun. Like we learned a lot and had a lot of challenging tasks. But It was also good for us because we learned how to face our fears and figure out what to do in tight and challenging student. Hello everyone! This marking period we had a project and it was about our favorite teacher. And we had to create a website dedicated to them because of teacher appreciation week. So my favorite teacher was Mrs. Lawless. And we had to interview the teacher to get background information and create a website just for them. It was not a hard project because we have been coding for very long and we had the basic out line done in class so it was even easier to .  put the website together. The one thing it was challenging for me was that, I had to add new css and it looks beautiful.  We had 3 major parts of this project. First we had to give information about the teacher, Then Their teaching style and how it impacts us. So all of that was done and yea the project was fun over all. Hello everyone! This year we went to many field trips but out of all Google was the most interesting to me. So we went to the Google office in Manhattan. The office is really big. The office itself takes up 3 block and it has many ways to go from one building to another.  The most interesting this about the office is that it’s very open. I thought that there will be little cubicles in the office and everyone working on their job but it’s totally different. You have your won schedule and there is a whole lot of open space. And there is a whole floor open and it has like an open spot. So you can go out to balcony and take in fresh air and enjoy the view. They also have snacks. But most of them are healthy buy if they are unhealthy what they do it that they leave it in a covered place so you won’t see it. If you don’t see it your mind don’t want it. Hello everyone! Lab 21 was one of the challenging labs that we had to do during the 2nd marking PD. For this lab, we had to validate everything that the user inputs. It included name, address, zip code, phone number and credit card number. And for this, we had to validate it. So it for the phone number it needs to be certain digit and for a credit card, it must be certain characters long. this was hard because or special instruction was that credit card number must be equal to 16+ when u add up all the 16 character number also it must end with an even number. But it was done. That's all for this lab.

Hello everyone! Lab 20 was a combination of past all 4 labs. So for this lab, we would have to create an alert a prompt and a confirm box. So we can use many scenarios to use this lab. for me, I had a self-driving taxi. so it would ask you to whats ur name and where you want to go. then it would tell you your name is "pepito Perez" you want to go to this "x" location. and is it correct if click yes it would say ok thank you for riding with us? if you press no it would take you back to the beginning to fix the mistake that was made. that's all for lab 20.

Hello Everyone! This lab was very simple. We had to create a guessing game. So there would be a random number between 1 to 15 and you would have to guess the number and input it in the given space. if you give a number less then the actual set number the alert would say your number is too low please guess higher and if you guess too high it would tell you to you are guessing too high it would to lover down the number and if you guess correct it says congratulation. And the set numbers are random too so there is no way it will be the same answer for the same thing.
